2.Lead-in
Ask students to watch the photos (Jay Chou and Jackie Chan)
T: Do you know them?
Ask students to watch the photo of Jay Chou
T: What does he do?
Ss: He’s a singer.
Watch the photo of Jackie Chan
T: What does he do?
Ss: He’s an actor.
(通过听歌曲,观看图片,吸引学生的注意力,激发学生的兴趣,同时通过老师的提问,导入新课,而且因学生对这两个人物都很熟悉,所以也能够给予正确的回答)

Ask students to look at the language goal: talk about jobs.

- Play a guessing game
Ask students to watch the pictures and try to read the descriptive sentences about different jobs. Then guess “ What does he/she do?”
(通过这个猜测游戏,让学生了解一些职业的具体任务,同时对句型“What does he/she do? He’s/she’s a/an…” 也起一个简单练习的作用)
- Reading and filling in the blanks.
Ask students to read these sentences by themselves. (5 minutes)

- Pair Work
Ask students to watch the pictures and make their own conversations in pairs. Using :
